I am trying to do 2 things:
1) add a background image to the Main block(s) that has a dark line at both ends to "frame in the block

2) To have no space between teh header and the main block and the main block and the footer.

to get the background I have modified the main.css file and editied the lines:

#page #central.#body{ background:url(images/iem-background.jpg) repeat-y; }

and

#page #central.noSideNav{ background:url(images/iem-background.jpg) repeat-y;}

to refer to the background image, but it still does not show.. and idea or is there someplace else..

on #2 I have removed as much of the padding as I can, but there is still "whitespace" between the header adn teh main.. any suggestions on how to remove?
