Spacing between Header & Body

I am still muddling through customizing an existing theme. One thing I cannot figure out or find a help post on is how to move the content section up slightly towards the header. I assume it is an adjustment to margins, but where is it?

which theme do you mean? There's no answer which works for every theme!?

It can be a margin, it could be an absolute position, a border, a dummy element and a lot more...
