special characters don't look right

When I add a block to my site and write somthing with the danish letters æ,ø,å it looks Ok, but when I later try to edit the block the characters come up in tinymce like this æøå
Does anyone know what is wrong. The database is utf8 so it can't be that.

Forgot to say, I have tried the entity encoding "raw" solution with no luck, the site is hosted at Bluehost as an add on domain

try adding 'AddDefaultCharset UTF-8' to .htaccess.
