Speed up concrete5 site on wamp server

Their is some way or "trick" to speed up the site in local server by changing something in Concrete5?

make sure php and mysql have enough memory etc - turn off any debugging through WAMP as that is definitely known to slow things down

Or just use Ubunto (or OSX) and not Windows (lol).
