I'm sure there is spell checker capability in the Concrete5 editing but I haven't found it. Can someone help me?

Thanks 12345, for getting back to me. Forgive me but, well I just have to ask - where is the check button in tinyMCE?

If you are using the "simple" editor option, its the "check mark" icon, bottom row of menu... far right
If advanced editor, its still bottom row but left of center (on mine at least)

Adreco, the only thing I can find that might be close is under
Dashboard>Add Functionality>Content - HTML/WYSIWYG Editor Content
At that point there is an "edit" button which leads to a screen with the option to "refresh" or "remove". Am I close? How do I get to this "editor option?" Thanks.

Hey Wendy,
Close...
Go to dashboard - sitewide settings tab - look to the bottom of the far right column and you'll find the options for changing your rich text editor.
These allow you to choose how complete the tool selection for the content editor is available in the tool bar when you wish to create or edit.
( On another note: the spell check icon has a check mark shape with the letters ABC above it... sometimes difficult to tell what it is if your glasses are like mine :> )

Okay, I'm at Rich Text Editor and see the "Toolbar Set" options. They are: "simple, advanced, office and custom." I have explored these but I do not find any spell check icon such as you described.

I've attached an image of my tool bar. Is this what you're missing?

That is correct. I do not have that icon on my toolbar. But, I'd sure like to have spell checker because my spelling is not the gratist.

Huge puzzle...
I believe the "Advanced" does not show it, but the others should.
Try selecting "Office" and then go to speed settings directly above (same dashboard page) and clear your cache (then just to be thorough, clear your browser too) and recheck.
Hopefully that is all it is
