Spooky ... I keep deleting things in source but not taken into account

Well that's strange ... I am modifying the source code for some page type but nothing happens .... Everything stays the same in the front end.. even weirder ... I just delete a page type directly from the server but still I can see all pages using that page type as usual ... There's probably something I'm missing here ? I cleared the cache, from the dashboard, and manually .... nothing ! Am i getting mad ... or tired ?!
Please note that, if you have a file with the same name as an page type handle (for example: page type handle "right_sidebar", file on theme folder "right_sidebar.php"), Concrete5 will use that template. IF NOT, default.php is used. So it's possible to delete a page type template and C5 will automatically use default.php.
I would also advise to disable caching while doing development work.
