{webroot}/config/site.php
({webroot}=where the index.php is)
stick it before the the ?> on a new line

Ok still not getting it. i read through out various places that the config directory and config/site.php is a file your pc gets when you download c5. Is this true because i didn't download c5. sorry if i'm overlooking the obvious but the site i'm trying to create i believe is on the c5 server. does that make a difference in what i'm trying to get done?

no it does not matter that you host with concrete5, login to your site via ftp, go to the folder i said above, download that file, edit it, save it and upload it. Thats it
