still not sure how to publish xml gallery

It was recommended I use Filezilla, so I now have that, but how do I download my files there and then publish them to the website. I've been trying unsuccessfully, please help.

if you need to upload files to your website you'll need an ftp client - this is filezilla.
In order for filezilla to connect to where your website is you will need the ftp address ftp username and password. You may need to speak to your webhost or look at their faq/help for this info.
Once you have those you need to set up a new site in filezilla using the site manager.
The way you set this up depends on the setup of the serrver that is hosting your website.
What exactly are you installing, if you are installing a concrete5 addon these mostly can be installed from within your conrete5 admin panel.
If you don't have ftp access it is proving too difficult maybe you can use one of those.
