strange behavior in editor

Hello,
I have something i can't quite understand.
fresh installed concrete5 (v5.4.0.5), default editor. When i reopen a text to edit in the default editor, it is "jumpy". I write a few lines of text, want to add something say 2 lines up and i click on that position with the mouse and it looks ok. But as soon as i start to write it suddenly jumps up a few lines. and before you see what happens you mess up the texts. I understand that the editor is one of the professional ones. Am i the only one experiencing this or is there something else involved? i.e. is this something to mention in the editors forum or a concrete5 (config?) problem?
i will try to capture an edit session asap with a filmtool. (this location has no capture software)

you aren't the only one. I had the same problem last night...thought I was going nuts.

I have no solution to offer, only empathy...

Hi Jody / everyone :-)
it's annoying not to know if it's your desktop/browser or the application that has the erratic behavior. By posting here we know we are not going crazy and that it probably isn't our workstation. It could be our workstation if we all use the same basics. (like all the same java)
in this case i think its the editor itself that is behaving erratic. but i have no clue to the why. If i find out anything or a workaround i'll sure post it here.

((i edited with this textbox here and i had no problems....))
