Stuck on "Approve Version"

When I log in to my site (running version 5.4.2.2), I get a message that the home page is pending approval. However, when I click "Approve Version," nothing happens. Clicking "Edit Page" brings back the Approve Version message. I hadn't edited the home page since last week and never leave a page without approving it. So I'm stuck in this Approve Version loop. I can edit other pages without a problem.
What can I do to get out of this endless loop?
Is it possible that a website migration to another server has caused this problem? Hostgator just migrated us over the weekend and I have no control over whatever they did.
Help! I edit our homepage almost weekly, sometimes daily.

BTW, I've clicked "Approve Version" countless times. Also clicked on "Edit Page" just as often. It just brings back the "Approve Version" message which I click again, all to no avail.
Nevermind - I fixed it!
Had to go to the Dashboard, click on Sitemap, choose "Home", click on "Versions". I approved a previous version, then approved the newest version. All better!
