Stupid Question re: Pagelists

Hey guys,

I re-did this site after some issues and now have a question.
oliveraiefoods.ca = site

Long story short Im using a Pagelist block here:http://www.oliveraiefoods.ca/index.php/products/olive-oils/...

The issue is, I have since updated the content from its child pages
http://www.oliveraiefoods.ca/index.php/products/olive-oils/organic-...
and here
http://www.oliveraiefoods.ca/index.php/products/olive-oils/extra-vi...

I thought pagelists pulled content from the child pages but Im thinking that is not the case.

Ive tried deleting the block and putting a new one in, but that also does not fix the problem.

Any guidance appreciated.

The core page list block takes the page description. If you want text from page content I suggest you check out Jordans Page List Teasers add-on (http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/page-list-teasers/... ) or update the page descriptions.

My magic heading block will (amongst other things) update the page description and meta descriptions directly from whatever is rendered on the page.

Although all the answers were correct in some form - this was the most direct and solved my problem.

You can also simply use the blog preview template to pull the content from the page in your page list. (Just change the Custom template).
