SVG Width and Height Properties not appearing
Permalink
I recently discovered on Internet Explorer my client's svg images were distorted (being squashed). I navigated to the pages that contained these files, clicked on the svg and then clicked on the Edit Image tree icon (in content block) and under the appearance tab saw that the svg had a width but not a height for dimensions.
I inserted in heights and this fixed the problem but when the client went to edit the page again the height values were removed.
I also reinserted a seperate svg file and this time scaled it down by dragging the image down by selecting the little blocks in each corner of the image. In this case when i went back to the appearance tab, I could clearly see a width and height value.
I then checked the svg files in the file manager and noticed that under the properties there was no width or height property either.
So I am assuming that the svg file is not being resized correctly by using constrain proportions because the system doesn't know what the original proportions are.
Is there a way to get the file manager to ensure it pics up the width and height. Is this an svg issue or C5 issue?
All browsers except IE show the svg images correctly.
Thanks M
