Text causing Page to be deleted?
Hi there,
The page on one of my clients sites was deleted apparently by text that was added to the page.
I had my programmer look at the page and it when ever he added a certain line of text he would get a "page not found error". The page in question is this page -http://blindsports.on.ca/news/2011-quest-for-gold-funding/...
I will copy in his reply to me by email:
"One thing that completely infuriated me is that when I was trying to add the content to the page, I kept getting "page not found" error. I tried inserting text one paragraph at a time and it worked, until I reached one sentence - "Whether or not the selection criteria applied by the PSO/MSO were fair, objective, transparent and free from discrimination or conflict of interest.". I wouldn't believe if someone told be, but it you try inserting this sentence to the page - you always get "page not found error". How Concrete5 managed to screw this up? I have no idea!! Arghhhhh... If entering some words in content area can throw error like this, I wouldn't be surprised that your customer managed to delete this page just by entering something that Concrete5 didn't like."
Anyone have any suggestions as to why this type of thing would happen?
Thanks
Best Regards,
James
