Theme edits not carrying over

So I thought this was odd, I changed the CSS in themes under plain yogurt, The preview in the Iframe changed so I saved the changes. (I took #page from width:800px to 100%
When I went back to site edit and published there was no change, width is still set at 800px??? Anyone know why or what I did wrong?
