Theme Not in Dashboard Marketplace

I found a theme in the marketplace on my browser that I want on my site. I then went to the Dashboard > Extend Concrete5 > More Themes. I entered the name for the theme in the search box, it didn't come up with anything. How come? I saw it in the marketplace on my browser.

Which one was it? You also can add it to your 'cart' (even when it's free) and assign it to your site. Then on your site, go to Extend Concrete5. At the bottom of the list he will be ready to download. After you downloaded it, don't forget to install it.

Does this work for a site on a localhost?

No, as Blenderite said. Then you should download it, place it in your package folder (just copy the theme folder into packages, in the root folder). Instead that you assign it to your site, you have to do this manual. But the steps after that are the same. So copy it to packages, and install it with Extend Concrete5.

I have had this exact same problem. I think it is because the exact theme or add-on isn't made for your version of C5. While it may still work, it doesn't say that so the marketplace doesn't display it in the Dashboard Marketplace.

If it is a free theme, all you have to do, is go to the Marketplace in your browser, go to the themes page and scroll to the bottom. There should be a Download Archive button next to the version number. Click this and save it to your desktop. Unzip it and FTP it to the packages folder of your C5 installation.

Go to the Dashboard > Extend Concrete5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the name of the addon. You should see a Install button to the right. Click this. The page should reload and a message should pop up near the top saying it has installed successfully.

You should then be able to enable it like usual.

Go to Dashboard>> Extend Concrete5>> More Themes (instead of 'More Add-Ons')
