Theme page not working

I created a page the way I wanted in the header & side bar and saved it as the default page type. But, my sub pages are not picking up the changes I made to the default page type. How do I get this to work. The theme I am using is Greek_Yogurt, and the right side bar page type is what I am using. Thanks in advance for helping out.
If so, you need to go back there and click on "Setup on Child Pages", and then select any of the previous pages.
