Themes and support

This is so frustrating bought the Creative theme, firsttime installation runs ok and I could edit the theme make some beutifull pages, then did something stupid and have to remove everything.

No toda I am busy fot 6 hours want to use the creative theme first time I choose replace everything with the creative theme that resulted in an error an one page.

So uninstalling database remove and installing again for xtimes, so now I choose to replace everything this also result in an errror and a not usible theme

I try to reach the maker of the theme but he does not respond.

Can there not come a kind testing commision of Concrete5 which test the themes or add ons then the user buy something where he can rely on, or make some good appointments that the seller (maker) should response in a x time

Hans

The error is: I think a css fault

ParseError: Unexpected input in header.less on line 322, column 13 320| max-height: 700; 321| 322| position: relative; 323| 324| overflow: hidden; 325|

There is a strict testing of themes when they are approved for the marketplace, so I am sure that this theme was tested when it was created, as you said it worked for you the first time.

As for the errors you are getting, do you have all of your caches turned off for development? Have you tried to clear the cache before/after getting this error? Have you changed anything in the less/css files at all?

If you go to Dashboard -> System & Settings -> Cache & Speed Settings, all of those should be set to "Off" for development and then once you site is pretty much done and no more themes/packages are going to be installed turn those back on.

It appears that this is looking for a Google font on your server, not on the Google server.

Hutman (or other viewers)
I run this on a windows vps could it not be that the file could not be found cause file_exist make c:/Inetpub/vhost etc in stead of c:\inetpub\vhost

I don't have any Windows environments setup, but if I was a guessing person I would say wherever this font is declared they used //fonts.google.com and nothttp://fonts.google.com and that's what is messing this up.

Hi Hutman,

It is not especially a windows setup it is the same setup the strange thing about it is that previous setup on another vps worked correct, I think this Plesk version 12.5 have other settings the the previous 12.0
