Things shifting on website

Hello - I have been working with the template "Rigid Bold". I'm very new to Concrete5. When I went to make my browser window smaller (it had been fullscreen), things started shifting around.

On every other website I've seen, when you make the browser smaller, things just disappear...everything stays in the same place, you just can't see it anymore.

But with this site, everything scrunches into whatever size the browser is, distorting everything.

Does anyone know how to fix this so things stop moving around and distorting? Thanks!!!

Funny thread xD. There is nothing to fix as this is an expected behaviour. As the theme description say it's responsive, mean your content react to your screen size.
Today Responsive design is widely use on a lot of website, as far we can see there is nothing wrong with your screenshot

If you really want to disable the responsive behaviour, delete all the media query in the css files, depend on the framework but this might need some more tweak to keep the design in good shape.

This is what you probably want, believe it or not.

This type of "dynamic" moving site is designed to adjust it's self to fit on small screens (think phones and tablets). Your site will be easier to navigate for mobile users compared to static sites.

You can remove this functionality but usually people actually want this.

Thanks for the reply, fabienapd and WhiteHawk. Phones and tablets make total sense...I had totally overlooked that. We will definitely keep it in that format. Thanks!
