this page is marked for removal

A user in group Blogger has created a blog page for which they have since tried to delete. When they look at the page they see "this page is marked for removal" but it still remains on the site. Where as an Admin user do i see this page as waiting for removal so i can confirm deletion.

I am using the Sitemap Extention - 0.3 add on but the page does not show in the Unapproved Pages tab which differs to a create page action. I also tried using the search pages tab facility on approved pages with unapproved tick but still no luck.

Not sure how an Admin is supposed to pick these items up without having to go through each page on the site.
