Timing a revision for future publication?

I was wondering whether it's possible to set a particular revision of a page to appear in the future.
The timed release settings apply only to new pages in terms of making things public (because a page is either visible, or not, to the Guest group). But I'd like to apply this to an existing page, which will be updated at some point in the future.
So the idea is that a page which already exists is altered but the changes are not published. They are then published at a point in the future without any user input.
Is this possible?
