Tried to log-in --> Database Error
Permalink
Hello,
I made a concrete5 site on a Dreamhost account the other day. Was able to get a basic site up and running.
I tried to log-in today to edit the site and none of the different usernames that Dreamhost sent me were working.
So I went in and changed the passwords so that they were all the same(FTP and MySQL), and now my site has crashed.
I get the following error: "Unable to connect to database.
A database error occurred while processing this request." whenever I try to visit my website in any browser (even tried on my phone's 4G internet so as to get a different IP/cookie/etc.).
Any thoughts on how to get my site up again AND how to log-in to edit it?
Thanks!

Hello rcmcavinue,
If you are still having problems, Step 4 of this article I did explains how to update your site.php file:

Also, here is a link to Dreamhost's guide on how to "Connect to your MySQL database using third-party programs:"
