Trouble with my form installation / return email

I am still having trouble with my form installation. I do not get any email response when I fill out and send the form to myself. Am I alone in having such a problem? The following is a msg. from my host "DirectNic"
"we are not able to find the directories nor the file with your form code on the server. Did you install the form as a plugin? -The page in question:
http://www.site-rite.net/index.php/contact/client-form/...... There is no contact nor client-form directory on the server." (end msg.) Since I can see the page, it seems clear to me that the page and the form on the page do exist, so . . Does anyone in this concrete forum know what the above host/server message means to me and to the concrete form installation. ?

well, the form is a plugin on the site but it comes with the basic install.
Check your /concrete/blocks folder, there should be a directory called "external_form" there.

It might also be wise to list what you already tried so others won't suggest it again ;)

I think I will just have to take the form off of the page until I find a solution. I would like to know If there is a bug in the form script, but it is beyond my skills to find it. If the form process actually works for anyone, I would like to hear about that also. Thanks

New to C5 and having this same problem. I actually thought that when I tested the form myself the question/query would come to my email address which is what I wanted, not a page created on the dashboard. Like you I did not get the notification email so if someone sent me a query they'd be relying on my checking the dashboard for new messages.
