I ended up having to add some custom CSS targeting those particular layouts, and I had to refer to them hierarchically. Also I had to set lots of "do not cache" and reset them every time I made an edit. Not fun. I think Twitter Bootstrap is mostly broken for me. I had to resort to using a combination of Twitter Bootstrap and the default Concrete5 layouts (since default Concrete5 layouts are left aligned only, and Twitter Bootstrap will default to single columns in Mobile mode).

If the part of the page you are referring to is the list of icons, Podcasts...RSS, that would be better suited to an image gallery. There are many responsive gallery addons in the marketplace, including some free.

That's a good suggestion. I tried looking through the galleries, but they are designed to show photos not icons. Galleries do strange things like maximise the size of the icon to the limits, and they don't allow me to add links (instead they tend to open up a lightbox).

Do you know of any add-ins that can create a "launcher" style home screen (icons + label/description, when clicked they open a link, and responsive so you can define the matrix size)?
