two different default home pages ??

New to all of this.
I have just started with C5 and created a home page.. I seem to have created 2 different "landing pages" (home pages)somehow?? yet only have 1 home page showing in the tree..
This is what I get....
If I typehttp://www.xxxx.com/concrete I get one home screen displayed and if I type xxxx.com/concrete (no www.) I get a different home screen display - and when I login to edit I get only the home pahe showing depending on whether I used www. or not in the site login in address...
What the hell have I done ?
And how do I gethttp://www.xxxx.com to show the same home page as xxxx.com

Strange... have you tried refreshing your browser? (for both addresses hold shift and click the refresh arrow on your browser next to your address bar.)
hum, sounds a bit odd to me, would you be using a virtualhost configuration by any means ?
if so, how do you alias your site ? do you have 2 vhosts ? one for www one for without ? or are you using a ServerAlias directive ?
if I am on the right track can you post the relevant part of your apache site conf ?
