Unable to add images in the file mamager

I have been trying to add images but I can not get any option to add images. Can any one help me to add images in concrete5 vrs 5.5

Go to Dashboard - File Manager, click the Browse button, select the file from your computer then click the Upload button. It doesn't matter what type of file it is, you upload all of them to the file manager the same way.

Thank you for your reply but on my version of concrete5 I cant find a browse button to click to select a file. I have attached an image to show what I am previewed to when I go to file manager.
Need your assistance to how I can upload files.

Could you go to system & settings => allowed file types view and send a screenshot of that here.

Also, other screenshot of system & settings => file manager permissions.

Probably it's because of some of these settings.

Ok, from the file manager permissions I cannot see anything but I'm pretty confident it's because of your allowed file types (which is empty).

Put this to your allowed file types, save and check whether it fixed the problem:
flv, jpg, gif, jpeg, ico, docx, xla, png, psd, swf, doc, txt, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, tiff, rtf, m4a, mov, wmv, mpeg, mpg, wav, 3gp, avi, m4v, mp4, mp3, qt, ppt, pptx, kml, xml

Actually ,i am not the common user of image processing.I have only tried to add image to tiff files in this free trial:

It offers the detailed tutorial for adding image.
