Unable to Edit Blocks In Edit Mode
Permalink
I am not able to click on the blocks to edit them while in edit mode. After logging in as an admin, the edit bar is either not visible or it will say "Editing" but I will be unable to edit anything.
How can I fix this?

I'm pretty new at this stuff. Is there anything I can give you that would help with the problem? Is there a certain element I should inspect?
I've attached an image, if that helps.

Hello,
In your photo at the bottom left hand you can see the "HTML" tab is selected. It would be more useful to understand your problem if the "console" tab just next to it was selected instead.

I switched the tab to console. These are the errors I am getting (in the attachment).
it seems some scripts don't get loaded when in edit mode. Your menu and tooltip scripts seem absent. You need to check in your theme or blocks what is supposed to load those scripts and why it's not.

I switched the theme to a normal, default theme and I still cannot edit any blocks.

Well the sooperfish add-on for example comes with the theme you are using so just switching theme won't do it.
You can find it inside your theme's folder in the block folder inside the autonav folder.
If you have problem with code in general, you need to find someone you can give access to to have a proper look.

I deleted sooperfish and I am still unable to edit the blocks.
As I said, you have 2 errors each linked to a different script not just sooperfish.
I am sorry but in the absence of some code to look at or an access to the site to have a look it's impossible to say anything other than what I already said.

Is there any way you could take a look at it? My email is jacobr5000@gmail.com
I can but really only a quick one for anything obvious as I am quite busy.
I'll send you an email.

This is usually down to a javascript conflict. Check your installed scripts.
