Unable to edit page information in Firefox 3.6.3

I have noticed an inconsistency with Firefox (Windows XP SP3)that does not seem to be present in Google Chrome or IE 8.

If go and add a page and try to edit any of the fields (i.e. Description, Meta Title etc.) I am not able to highlight text in a field or make a selection in any point of a field. I have to click at the start and end of a field and then use the arrow keys on my keyboard to move to the point that I wish to edit. Chrome and IE8 do not exhibit the same issue.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Is this an issue for all Firefox users or just those using windows? Could it be caused by firefox extensions such as Firebug?

Thanks

Does anyone else have this issue with inserting properties (metatags etc.) in Firefox?

Is this a bug?

Thanks

hmmm...

I know that when I was using fox splitter it caused some major problems with firebug and some others.

Also I noticed a long time ago that my firewall was acting up and I was having some trouble with tony stats (this was a older version though).

Thanks ThemeGuru,

I have just tested it on a machine without any Firefox extensions installed.

It definitely appears to be a bug.

It appears that when creating a page and adding the properties (meta tags, title etc.)for the first time, I am unable to highlight text or click an insertion point within any field. This only seems to be an issue in Firefox (am able to do it in Chrome or IE).

I can however edit those fields once i have saved the page and then go to the properties again.

I have test it on three machines (two running Firefox 3.6.3 and Windows XP SP3 and another using Vista.

Any ideas on how I should notify Concrete5 of bugs?

Thanks
