unable to input any html
Permalink 2 users found helpful
Whenever i try an input a html block it just disappears. After pressing save the block just appears as a very thin red bordered box as if i created an empty box.
It was working fine then suddenly just stopped working. I can't get any html code to work - and i test them all on other sites which verify the code is good.
Any idea what the problem could be? Keep in mind i am a newb so i may need step by step help.

Hi tallacman,
I sent you a message.
I sent you a message.
I'm having problem, but with a content block. I tried pasting the html in an html block and got the same results. When I type "Recent Updates" with absolutely no formatting, the block appears fine, but when adding any formatting such as font size, center, color, etc, the block appears super thin as described above. I'm a newb too, and wondered if you were able to diagnose what was going on? Thx.
Ok for anyone having this sort of problem, i paid for support from concrete 5. ($125)
It turned out it was the security wall add on i downloaded from the marketplace was somehow preventing the html blocks from accepting html code.
The tech tweaked something, works fine now.
Hope this helps.

Have you tried to diagnose the problem using an element inspector? Firebug for firefox is good or Chrome and Safari have them built in.
It is very handy for this sort of thing, as it maybe a problem with your html if you are experiencing the same issue with both blocks.

This just happened on my site as well and honestly, element inspectors are a little over my head. I'm a marketer and have on a little experience with code, so concrete5 was my choice for getting sites up easy. Anyway, what kind of thing would I be looking for in firebug?
If you guys could post a URL to the page with the problem, it would be much easier to diagnose - otherwise, we're really just guessing...
This is a problem with the security wall addon,
i will be contacting the plugin author about this
