Unexpected Error: MySQL 1054 (Image selector dialog unusable)

I get this error when trying to use an image selector dialogue from Image block.

An unexpected error occurred.

mysql error: [1054: Unknown column 'fsfl.fsID' in 'where clause'] in EXECUTE("SELECT DISTINCT f.fID, u.uName as fvAuthorName FROM Files f INNER JOIN FileVersions fv ON f.fID = fv.fID LEFT JOIN Users u on u.uID = fv.fvAuthorUID left join FileSearchIndexAttributes on (fv.fID = FileSearchIndexAttributes.fID) where 1=1 and fv.fvType = '1' and fsfl.fsID = '0' and fvIsApproved = '1' order by fvDateAdded desc limit 0,500 ")
< Back to Home

Prior to seeing this error, I deleted an old bunch of image files and file sets. The error occurs even with a fresh page. File Manager and other stuff from Dashboard seem to work fine. Just from page editing I get this error. Please HELP! In a middle of a major update, I can't fix my site now.

I have a suspicion that the error could be related to a possibility that "deleted" file sets (and possibly files themselves) are not completely removed from the database and causing inconsistencies. When I try to use a block where I can specify by file sets, the pulldown menus still give me deleted file sets as options. As long as I specify sets that still exists, the block still can access files contained therein. But I can't even see the list of files without causing the error.
