Unique download link

Hello Concrete5 members !

I was curious if there is a unique download link generator in Concrete5.
We have files that are just to large to send over mail.
Because of that some clients do not receive their files.

We would like to have a system to upload the files to our own server with a unique link so clients can download their files. We want to storage the files maximum 7 days.

There isn't anything like this really but if you look at the eCommerce add-on Digital Add-ons (https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/digital-downloads/) You will see code that does exactly that.
Might point you in the right direction.

Do you know if this is also available for Concrete5.7 ?
5.7 has such addon but I am not sure if it has the same options.
