Unpublishing Pages

Hi,

I have tried editing the permissions and the attributes for several pages that I'd like to not show up in the navigation, or be reachable by certain users. However, when I view the site as a user in a different browser, it appears that none of the settings to control this have worked.

How can I accomplish this goal?

Maybe you forgot to approve the changes to the page after updating the attributes? Take a look at the page versions and check if the newest is currently active.
