Upload button not showing

I have a problem in a C5 install. The upload button is not showing. I tried the trick of adding filetypes mentioned earlier (although they already were set). That didn't work. I also tried clearing the cache. That didn't work either.

Do you guys have any solutions? Here is the environment info

I just noticed the same: no Multifile Upload Button
It works on my Mac/Chrome but not on Ubuntu/Firefox

Then I noticed complaints about missing flash player.

Installed an SWF player (not adobe)

Now I have a white rectangle where the button should go.

Then installed adobe flash player

And it's there

The button requires flash!
