Uploading file in Concrete 5.5

Trying to do a simple jpg upload in the new 5.5 verson. The file manager no longer has the "upload" buttons. Please advise how to correct this?

I have attached a photo of what I see in the file manager.

Go to Dashboard >> System and Settings >> Permissions & Access>> Allowed File Types... and add the following filetypes - 


flv, jpg, gif, jpeg, ico, docx, xla, png, psd, swf, doc, txt, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, tiff, rtf, m4a, mov, wmv, mpeg, mpg, wav, avi, m4v, mp4, mp3, qt, ppt, pptx, kml, xml

Hi, log in as an administrator, then go into the dashboard, and select "systems and settings" then go to "File Manager Permissions" at the botom of the administrators section check that "add files" is set to "yes". if its not, that may be your problem.
