User Search Page Default Settings

Does anyone know how to modify the default settings for the results per page and sort category. I am trying to adjust a large number of users and each time I finish updating a user and go back to the User Search page it goes back to 10 results and sorting by Date Added. I would much prefer 500 results sorting by Username. Thanks!
