User Level Permissions?

Is it possible to have user level permissions?
I'm trying to set up a site with multiple levels of users. Each user group would only have access to certain content and certain abilities of editing the site. Is this possible?
I've been trying to find a good CMS with these features for years. WebGui offers this and a few other key features I like, but overall it's a pain and slow.
Does anyone have experience with Webgui and now using C5? I'm hoping for a good comparison of each.
So far I think C5 is pretty sweet to use and it seems like a great community of developers and users ;}
Thanks in advance.

As Franz said, all of these features are all built in when you activate advanced permission!
I strongly recommend giving it a shot. The permissions are VERY flexible from page permissions all the way to permissions on a specific area!

I have only messed around with the demo version so far. I guess I can't toy with this until I actually set it up on my server then, huh?
I was pretty sure there was a way and that it was better than Webgui. They have so many features, but it's so cluttered and hard to manage.
Gonna go ahead this week and start messing around. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions ;}
Here's a BIG one... Single Sign On!
Is this possible across a C5 site and a shopping cart and/or community? Can those permissions be used as well??
I use 3DCart for our store now. Not perfect, but it has a lot of stuff we've had custom coded. It would suck to have to abandon all that for another cart as well.
Thanks again

yes, you can do single signon with openID, or extend that to use ldap or whatever.
yes, we're releasing ecommerce this week, forums will be after that.
i have no idea what 3dcart is, but its pretty easy to wrap 3rd party applications with "single pages"

if you like the promise behind webGUI, you'll love the reality of concrete5.
