Users unable to Login

Hey, C5 community!

Over the last several months, I have tried to work with two different freelancers to get some work done on my site. In both cases, I did the following:
- created a specific group for them,
- created them as a user
- added the new user to the new group
- visited the page they were to have access to and granted them view/edit access

Then after verifying their login worked (using my computer running another browser), I sent them the login information.

In both cases, they reported being unable to login. Both seem to be competent web developers, so I assume they are being honest with me.

The latest user reported that "Sign In" still appears on the bottom of the screen after logging in.

Any one have any ideas? I am running 5.6.3.3. Thank you!

if you want you can create me a user id with no ability to change anything and I'll test the login for you and confirm if I am able to log in or not. I've seen problems with login in the past that were related to caching of the login page.

I've also seen some other problems that have been caused by the host. But, if I can login then really that should mean it is ok.

Hi,
I've just looked initially and it seems I cannot log in. I'm just going to check a couple of things.

When you login using that login are you taken to the dashboard or is it just you are allowed to edit the page?

If the login only has permissions to edit one page - can you post the URL of that page here so I can visit it?

Thanks so much for your help.

The consultant emailed this morning and said that he can log in now. I find this quite curious, but can only imagine it must have been some sort of a caching issue.
