Very Slow File Manager Processor/OS question
Permalink
Hello,
I just jumped into C5 (Love it) building a new site and my first in C5. In helping my developer with the content and design/editing myself, I find everything working great except the File Manager in edit or adding image is is excruciatingly slow for me. I'm on an older Mac G5/PowerPC OSX 10.5.8 using Firefox. The site isn't public yet.
Is there a setting in Firefox or with caching that would improve the speed? The jpg's range from 19kb to 1400kb. On a a laptop with intel, it seems fine. I may have answered my own question but sure would like to know if there is any solutions/ideas.
Great community- Really feel fortunate to be a part of it.
Thanks

I figured as much with the processor. Thank you. Yes I had made sure
caching was disabled. Uploading is a breeze, it's only when I go in to
select an image or select/change to a different set is where i run
into the ever spinning rainbow wheel.
