videos dont play sometimes

our site has lots of large f4v videos (400mg). we are on a dedicated server and sometimes we can't view our videos. we are setting up the site so we get very little traffic. we use flowplayer add on.
It what instances can you not view the videos?
i can go to a video, it wont play, go to another video it will go back to the first video it plays go back to the second video and it wont.
you never know. its not like sometimes i go and all play and another time none play. it also not some videos, its completely spontaneous.
