Vimeo and Blip.tv

I understand how to post youtube videos with the youtube block. However, I must be missing something. How do I do the same with Vimeo and Blip.tv videos?

add a html block, and embed html which I assume they allow embed codes for:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HohpvGeLw70&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HohpvGeLw70&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Hit save and tada.

Thanks ScottC, your obvious solution helped me figure it out too. I kept looking for a "Vimeo block", but no such luck.

Duh! - just embed the HTML code!!

Great answer, works perfectly!

Precisely. Thanks!

Just one note: you have to use the "HTML" block type - it doesn't seem to work if you use a "Content" block and then try to add the embed code using the HTML editor for the block.

This means that if you want to add anything else in the HTML block along with the Vimeo player (like pictures or text), you have to code it as HTML. (E.g., put <p> </p> tags around paragraphs, etc.)

Their is a Vimeo block in the market place if you want to go that route. Works really well - just like the YouTube block.
