Vivid Carousel not working properly

Hello,
I have used many versions of concrete5 but for some reason, things just aren't happening the way they should be in many instances with this latest version.
My current frustration is with vivid carousel. I am have installed and added galleries to the breed pages of my site. The thumbnails show up but you cannot click them for the larger image. Can someone help with this?

You mention that "things just aren't happening the way they should be in many instances with this latest version". Can you include more specific details please.
The Vivid Carousel add-on does not offer the feature to click an image for a larger version. I recommend looking through the marketplace for a gallery/slide-show add-on that does.
