Weird- cannot logout

Somehow, I try to log out by either using the "sign out" button in the top toolbar, or the "sign out" link in the footer and nothing happens. I still see the top toolbar, and I'm still logged in.

The link from the sign out button points to
http://mysite.com/ndex.php/login/-/logout/...

Any clues to what could be happening?

Having the same problem. It started after two editors in different locations were editing at the same time.
Any idea to fix this as the site is now open to abuse.

Just noticed, if I attempt to edit the site as anon user I get the message "Another user is currently editing this page."

Still able to login as admin and change content.

I have similar problem - CAN'T LOG OUT of Edit mode while using FIREFOX. Scenario: 2 people are working on site from different locations. I started by using IE8 (using WinXP), but did't like how it hung up. So I started using FIREFOX (may have still been logged into the website with IE8.) PROBELM: NOW I can't log out using Firefox. I CAN easily log IN and OUT using IE8, but no matter what I do, FIREFOX stays logged in -- a security issue for our work environment. Plz help! -- ECW
