When editing block - "styles" unavailable

heyho!
I have done a search for this, but couldn't see anything recent, and now not sure if this is a bug or not...
I have another - older C5 site where I was able to put css classes into typography.css and have them available in the "styles" dropdown in the block editor.
This isn't working for me just now.. could someone give me some advise for getting this feature working pls!
