Where do I find a missing search block?
Hi
I have notic that the search block is missing in my c5.
How is it posible to get it back as it must have been deleted by mistake, I guess. I don't see any other way, as you can click edit for a blocktype and then remove.
But how do I get it back. This is system block and there for inside the concrete/blocks folder. If I look in the files it all seems to bee there.
What do I do to get it back in my list of blocks.?
If you look at my attached screendump of the blocks it is not there and the list is sorted alfabetic
Please adwice
Best regards
Brian

Thanks for the feedback
I have already looked if it was there for reinstall, but there was no search addon.
I also tried to add a copy of the original system search block to the /blocks folder (the custom one outside concrete) and this made it come back for installation, but this must be a wrong way as this is normally a default addon included in the c5 - right ?
What I did is hard to say ;-(

Hmm... well if you can install it after adding it to your site's blocks folder, I don't see any reason why that shouldn't work as normal (the only difference is that it will probably appear down at the bottom of the blocks list instead of near the top where it used to be).
Yes it does display in the bottom...
But I think it is strange that it is not found by c5.
I have not tested the block yet, but will do now
Again thanks for your help

It's strange that it would just disappear like that. Have you made any modifications to code anywhere? Sometimes it's easy to accidentally change the wrong file.
