Where goes the guest book?

I'm running a website with the latest version of c5. Today i removed the earlier versions of the page containing guest-book. All the existing content of guest book disappeared!

Please help me to identify the problem. Is there any way to get back the entries?

I think (hope) that you can roll back the version of the page to before you deleted it. Go to the page, click the "Edit Page" button in the toolbar, then click the "Versions" button in the toolbar. Check the box of the second page down (or whichever one is UNDER the current BOLD line), then click the "Approve" button. Then click the little "Close" button at the top-right of that panel. The page should update to the earlier version -- hopefully the guestbook block is back (with its data). If not, try going back another version.
