Why cant I drag a block to an empty area

I've been editing a site on xampp for around a week or so now, I also created a live website yesterday and I was able to edit and drag blocks to an empty area. I try to do it today in both xampp and the live website and I cannot drag a block across. I have tried different themes but still no luck. I can edit the page I put up yesterday where there is text in the block. But cannot drag blocks over to empty areas on that either. I am using the neat theme. I tried changing theme still no joy. Any help very gratefully received.

These kind of glitches typically arise because an html block has been added containing mis matched <tags></tags> or otherwise broken html or javascript. Another potential culprit would be a custom block with similar faults in the block edit or view.
Ive had a look and cant find the problem. I cant remember changing anything at all yesterday on the xampp site all I did yesterday is setup concrete5 on the server and then changed the template and deleted all the pages from the neat theme as I ant to put the other pages up in different stages as I get the text for the pages. I cut and paste the html for the content of the home page from the xampp version to the live website. The live site is only one page and can be found atwww.www.lothiandisabilitybadmintonclub.org.uk... so If anyone can spare the time I would be grateful for any help. Ive not used concrete5 or done any webdesign in a few years so my knoweledge is very rusty. Any help would really be appreciated.
Ive also tried going back to a very early version of the page to see if thats the problem. Still wont click and drag.
I went even further back in the page version and everything now working. Thankyou for your help.
