Why can't I see the Concrete5 toolbar?

Hello,
I am very new to using Concrete5 - I don't know anything about coding or building websites!
I am trying to build my first site using one of the templates from the Marketplace. I am finding it difficult to do much with my template because I cant even find the toolbar! Can anyone help?!

If you are using Internet Explorer, make sure that compatibility view is disabled - I have found this can cause the toolbar to misbehave / disappear.

Thanks for responding! I've just checked and I don't seem to have compatible view on for Internet Explorer. Coudl it be something else? Could I not have enabled something else somewhere?

Can you do a screen print of what you are seeing when you are logged in as administrator?

I am trying to use the Greek Yogurt theme but have tried others and get the same result.
I am a bit confused now, sorry I thought you could not see the C5 tool bar but the image in the doc was of only that tool bar.
Do you have this site running on your local machine or do you have it up on the web somewhere?
