Why is my site showing updates before I publish?

Can anyone help with this, please? I'm in the process of editing my website but a reason unknown to me partial updates keep appearing on my URL. I'm keen for none of this to show until I am completely ready.

Can any one tell me if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a glitch.

If you are login in your edits are visible. If you open a different browser where you are not login in, you wont see the changes yet as they haven't been published.

Thanks for you response however the changes are showing up without my having published them on different browsers on other machines. Not all of the changes are showing just some of them seem to be slipping through, e.g. my logo, a survey I had put on this to test, etc.
