Workflow questions

Hi,
I've set up a simple workflow on a site which should allow 'editors' to edit pages and request approval and 'administrators' to receive notification emails to approve. All seems to be working fine except that the 'administrators' are also being asked to submit for approval and having to go and separately approve each page they edit. I've got it set as:
Approve or Deny: Administrators
Notify on Entry: Administrators
Notify on Approve: None
Notify on Deny: None
Then on the pages in the sitemap permissions set as:
Approve Changes: Administrators | Editors
with the workflow checked in the details tab.
Have I set this up correctly? I thought maybe Administrators shouldn't be listed under Approve Changes with the workflow applied but then how would they approve anything they edit themselves?
Is there any way to set the Notify on Approve/Deny to notify the requester so they are aware if their edits have been published?
What does 'Notify on Entry' actually mean/do?
Many thanks,
Ali

Apparently documentation for Workflows is coming soon.
