Working well on localhost, playing ill on webserver
Permalink
Hi guys,
i am facing a strange problem. I built a site on localhost using MAMP and it all worked just fine.
Now that I moved it to the webserver, the content and everything looks good and functionality is ther - but i have problems editing anything.
Problem is:
1. When i add/edit content and confirm it in the content-context window, i get an "error message" without any error code inside.
When i close the error message and the context window and refresh the page, the changes are there.
2. When i go to dashboard and for the sitemap, i cannot access subpages in "full view", only "flat view" lets me get there.
3. Worst problem for me: I cannot change any blocks from "Extended Form", it just does not let me add items or anything - nothing happens when i click the button.
4. Area splitter works strange and i cannot edit content inside the area splitter, which was locally no problem.
5. Strangest of all problems: I told my hosting company to have a look at it, suggesting it might be a server-sided-problem and they told me the tried editing and had no problem....
I a confused...
