wysiwyg: Link / Html show only empty white box

Hi

I have the problem, that when I try to create a link in Tiny MCE or see the HTML view - only a white box appears (see attached screenshot). I can not exit the box, meaning I am unable to close it. I can only reload the page, loosing my entries of the editor.

V: 5.6.1.1
JS and Tiny directories are chmod 755.

I have no idea. This happed also with older versions! It also happens if I am using standard or expert mode of Tiny.

Could anyone give me a hand please?

Olaf

Look at your theme css or any javascript conflicts.

Hi

I am using the default greek_yoghurt theme at this time - and did not change any styles. For this reason I thank you for the idea, but I would exclude this from the possibile solutions (also tried switching to a different layout - Tiny still does not show correctly).

I should add, that on a differtn site the correct boxes are shown (this rules JS errors on my PC out: JS ist not blocked or anything.), oh - it's browser independet: IE / FF / Opera, none work.

I tried on a different domain (most likely on the same server (1&1): even stranger: Here I get a (when I click on the HTML/image button) a new window with a "page not found" error - and a link button "back to page" - when I click on this button, I am redirected to my (C5) Homepage IN the opened CSS windows (which should contain the HTML code for example).

Hi

if I remember correct, I somehow "solved" it when I moved the site do a different (sub)domain - instead of a folder.

Sorry, too long ago to say something else.
